Ingredients to Make Fluffy Mashed Potatoes
There are some ingredients you need to prepare to make fluffy mashed potatoes. They consist of chicken broth or water, ½ cup of cream (or you can use milk), ½ cup of butter (the cubed butter), salt, 7 large russet potatoes (peel and let them in the whole), 1/3 cup of sour cream, 1 egg (or you can use 2 eggs), and fresh ground pepper.
For broth, you can use enough broth to cover the potatoes or if you want to mix it with water you can use half broth and water. Using broth will make your mashed potato taste more delicious.

Directions to Make Fluffy Mashed Potatoes
The first step to make fluffy mashed potatoes is preparing a saucepan and pouring the broth on it. Put the potatoes in the broth until all of them are covered with broth. Turn on the stove and boil the potatoes.
Since the potatoes are left in a whole it’ll take around 25 minutes to make them fork-tender. After all of them are fork-tender, turn off the stove and drain the potatoes in a large bowl. While the potatoes are still warm, add cream, milk, butter, and sour cream. Mash the potatoes until they consist of small chunks.

When all ingredients are mixed well, you can add eggs and continue to mix them until they turn into fluffy mashed potatoes. The last, add salt and pepper based on your taste. Serve the fluffy mashed potatoes while they’re warm.
