How to Cook Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients to Make Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
You need to spend 1 hour 55 minutes to cook cheesy scalloped potatoes and there are several ingredients to prepare. They include 2 large potatoes,2 tbs of flour, 6 ounces of cream cheese with herbs, 1 cup of cheddar cheese (the grated cheese), ½ tsp of salt, 1 pinch of nutmeg, ¼ cup of grate parmesan cheese, 3 tbs of butter, 2 ½ cups of whole milk, 1 cup of swiss cheese (the grated one), 1 garlic clove (mince it), ¼ tsp of pepper, and 5 medium baking potatoes.

Directions to Make Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
The first step to make cheesy scalloped potatoes is melting the butter in a saucepan. After it melts, whish in flour. Cook them around 2 or 3 minutes, stir constantly and turn of the stove before it changes into brown. Take another bowl and whisk in milk. Boil the milk and after it boils, reduce the heat of the stove. Let it boil for another 5 minutes.
While waiting for the milk to boil, you can add swiss cheddar, herbed cheese, salt, garlic, nutmeg and pepper. Stir them until the cheese melts. Put aside. Then, peel and slice the potatoes into ¼ inches slices. Give butter on the sliced potatoes and sauce. Put them in layers that is started from potatoes and sauce alternately.  

Next, you can add sprinkle of parmesan and bake the dough in the preheated 3500F oven for 1 hour and ½. Serve the cheesy scalloped potato after you cool it for 5 to 10 minutes from the oven.
