There are always ways to change potatoes into delicious food that can make people want to eat it again and again. One of potato recipes you can try is cheesy potatoes with corn flakes. To cook this recipe you need to spend 1 hour 15 minutes in which 15 minutes for the preparation and 1 hour to cook the dough.
This recipe is suitable for summer snack that can be eaten with your family. You can use any kind of cheese to make it but if you want to reduce the fat, choose non-fat cheddar cheese with light sour cream.

There are some ingredients you need to prepare before cooking cheesy potatoes with corn flakes. There only several things you need include 32 ounce of frozen hash browns (you can use either cubed or shredded), 16 ounces of sour cream (if you want to have more creamy cream add more sour cream), ¾ cup of butter (you also can use margarine if you don’t have butter), 2 cups of cheddar cheese (use non-fat cheddar if you’re on diet), 1 can cream of chicken soup, and 1 cup of corn flakes.

The first step to cook cheesy potatoes with corn flakes is taking out the hash browns from the freezer. Put them in a bag and set aside. Then, prepare a bowl and melt 1 stick of butter, mix it with sour cream, cream of chicken soup and cheese in a microwave.

Next, prepare a pan on a stove, put the hash browns, spread the sour cream, soup mixture and cheese on the top. In another bowl, melt ½ stick of butter, mix it with corn flakes until the butter is absorb in the flakes. After that, pour the sprinkle corn flakes on the top of sour cream, soup mixture and cheese. Bake them for 1 hour at 350.
